- What career/life planning activities are planned for this year-for example, presentations, seminars, field trips?
- What career/life planning resources are available to students and parents?
- How can I learn more about all the post secondary opportunities-apprenticeship, college, university and the workplace?
- What are the steps of effective career/life planning? How can I learn more about it?
- What pathway programs does the school offer?
- What specialized pathway programs does the Peel board offer?
- How can I help my student select courses in order to create a program pathway?
- What must be considered when selecting course type in grades 9 and 10—applied, academic, locally developed? In grades 11 and 12—apprenticeship, college, university, workplace?
- How is career/life planning incorporated into each course my child is taking?
- What experiential learning opportunities does this course/school provide-for example, job shadowing, work experience, field trips, co-op?
- How can my teen use the 40 hours of volunteer service to support his/her career/life planning?
- What co-curricular activities could help my child with the career/life planning process?
