Board approves schools for review, potential consolidation

The Peel board has created an Accommodation Review Committee to review four schools for potential consolidation. The review area is comprised of the attendance areas of Byngmount Beach, Lyndwood, Neil C. Matheson public schools and part of the attendance area for Allan A. Martin Senior Public School.

These schools were approved for review and analysis under the Peel board's "Policies and Regulations – Policy #45 – Consolidation of School Accommodation."

The Accommodation Review Committee will consider a variety of options, consult with parents, students, staff and the community and present its findings and recommendations to the Physical Planning & Building Committee for receipt and then these recommendations will go to a Regular Meeting of the Board for a final decision.
